Wax On
Apply Honeycomb to a Copper block!
Overview
Wax On is a task advancement in the Husbandry tab of Minecraft's advancement system, carrying the in-game description "Apply Honeycomb to a Copper block." It branches directly off Husbandry, so that earlier advancement is its prerequisite and must be earned first. The Husbandry tab covers advancements related to farming, animal breeding, food, and the natural world. Wax On was added in Minecraft 1.17, from the Caves & Cliffs update, and remains part of the current 1.21 advancement set.
It is rated Easy difficulty on this site: can be completed quickly with minimal resources. Good for beginners. It uses the standard task frame, meaning it is a normal step in the tree rather than a goal or challenge milestone. One further advancement, Wax Off, is gated behind it.
In tree terms, Wax On sits first along its line: the full path from the Husbandry root reads Husbandry -> Wax On. That means 1 advancement must be completed before this one becomes available, and Wax On is one of 26 total advancements in the Husbandry tab. It shares its parent with 13 sibling advancements (Bee Our Guest, The Parrots and the Bats, Best Friends Forever, A Seedy Place, Fishy Business, The Cutest Predator, Glow and Behold!, Whatever Floats Your Goat!, With Our Powers Combined!, Birthday Song, Planting the Past, Bukkit Bukkit, and Smells Interesting), all of which open from the same point in the tree.
