Everything in this tab hangs off Free the End, so the dragon comes first. Four of the advancements after it can be finished on the main island around that fight, before you ever leave it.
- The Next Generation
- The dragon egg appears on top of the exit portal after the first kill. It teleports away when you try to break it, but a piston pushing it, or letting it fall onto a torch, turns it into an item you can pick up.
- You Need a Mint
- Bring empty glass bottles to the fight. Use them on the dragon's breath while it is perched on the portal, or on the purple clouds its fireballs leave behind.
- The End... Again...
- Place four End crystals on the exit portal, one on each flat side. You have to be within 192 blocks of the center of the island when the dragon comes back. A respawned dragon drops 500 experience instead of the 12,000 from the first one.
- Remote Getaway
- Every dragon kill opens a new End gateway on the main island, up to 20. The bedrock around it keeps you from walking in, so throw an ender pearl into it; that counts and sends you out to the outer islands.
Out on the outer islands
The City at the End of the Game only needs you to walk into an End city. Look for a city with an End ship next to it: the elytra for Sky's the Limit hangs in an item frame in the ship's treasure room, guarded by a shulker.
That same city is the easiest place for Great View From Up Here, the only challenge in the tab and worth 50 experience. A shulker bullet gives 10 seconds of Levitation, about 9 blocks of rise, so you need to keep getting hit on the way up to reach 50 blocks. Plan how you will get down before you start.
